B.Tech in Mechnical Engineering

• Course Duration : 4 year ( 8 Semester)
• Session Starts: August every Year
• No. of Students Intake : 60
• Eligibility: Should be pass in 10+2 examination with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from recognized Board/University with 45% in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
  A) Chemistry 
  B) Bio-Technology 
  C) Computer Science 
  D) Biology
• Lateral Entry to 2nd Year of B.Tech : 
  Eligibility:Should have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology course of 3 years duration or more from Haryana Board of Technical Education, or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in the aggregate of all the semesters. OR candidate must have passed B.Sc (Graduate) with Mathematics as compulsory subject and with a minimum of 50% marks.

M.TECH. - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

RPS Group of Institutions offers 2 Year full time M.Tech. Program in Mechanical  Engineering branch with the annual intake of 18 students since 2013.The M.Tech. program is approved by AICTE/DTE and affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Haryana. 

The department of Mechanical Engineering offers core mechanical engineering specialization to the engineering graduates. It has excelled in its infrastructure facilities by keeping at par with the latest trends in the corporate sector.The various advanced laboratories such as welding technology lab, CAD/CAM Lab, Numercial methods &  computing lab, advanced production lab, Mechatronics Lab and Metrology Lab have been established for the post graduate students . 

The admissions to the course are made strictly adhering to the norms of AICTE/DTE/MDU, Rohtak.
